Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrician Job Description This role focuses on safely decommissioning high-voltage systems within a large industrial facility. You will disconnect equipment from high-voltage power, support installation and removal activities, and ensure all work follows strict safety procedures. A valid state electrician license is required. Responsibilities • Safely decommission and disconnect high-voltage electrical systems and equipment in an industrial warehouse environment., • Verify that systems are fully de-energized before performing any work and follow all lockout/tagout and safety procedures., • Use a variety of hand and power tools to support decommissioning, installation, removal, and repair tasks., • Perform general labor duties such as loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials and equipment as needed., • Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately using a tape measure and appropriate tools., • Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly, installation, and repair of industrial components and systems., • Support construction-related tasks, including basic carpentry and industrial installation work., • Operate or assist with equipment such as forklifts when required and when properly trained and authorized., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, promptly removing debris and waste materials., • Follow quality assurance standards and procedures to ensure work meets project specifications., • Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and instructions to complete assigned tasks., • Collaborate with on-site advisors, service teams, and other trades to complete decommissioning activities on schedule., • Perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive motions throughout the shift.Essential Skills, • Valid state electrician license., • Experience working with high-voltage electrical systems in an industrial or construction environment., • Strong focus on electrical safety and ability to follow strict safety protocols and procedures., • Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools used in electrical, mechanical, and construction work., • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately., • Experience with electrical installation, decommissioning, repair, and general electrical service., • Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics and diagrams., • Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment and materials up to 50 pounds., • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment., • Comfort working in industrial, warehouse, or construction settings with multiple moving parts and activities.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in industrial construction, general contracting, or production environments., • Background in mechanical assembly, installation, and repair., • Familiarity with carpentry tasks related to industrial or construction projects., • Experience with forklifts or other material-handling equipment, where properly trained and certified., • Exposure to quality assurance processes within industrial or construction projects., • General labor experience, including loading, unloading, inventory support, and material handling., • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with advisors, service providers, and other trades., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work safely and efficiently.Why Work Here? Work Environment Work takes place inside a large, busy warehouse facility with many simultaneous operations and moving parts. The setting is fast paced and labor-intensive, with a strong emphasis on safety and coordination. You will work closely with on-site advisors and service teams, using a variety of hand and power tools, industrial equipment, and electrical components. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with some work on Saturdays as needed, typically 8–10 hours per day, starting around 7:00 a.m. You must be prepared to work additional time before or after standard hours when project demands require it. The dress code includes steel-toe footwear, jeans, and a work shirt, and you must have a valid ID to access the facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pooler, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
