We’re partnering with a fantastic client in the alternative investments space to hire a Branding, Media & Content Strategist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, high-performing firm and play a key role in shaping its brand, voice, and market presence. This role is ideal for a creative yet strategic marketer who understands financial audiences and thrives at the intersection of content, social media, and events. What you’ll be doing: Social Media • Develop and execute a comprehensive LinkedIn strategy to grow audience, engagement, and brand authority, • Create and publish content including thought leadership, firm updates, market commentary, and multimedia assets, • Monitor performance metrics (impressions, engagement, follower growth, CTR) and optimize accordingly, • Support and advise leadership on executive social media presence Content Marketing • Produce high-quality content including white papers, articles, newsletters, case studies, and investment commentary, • Partner with internal teams to translate complex strategies and market insights into clear, compelling messaging, • Manage an editorial calendar and ensure consistency in brand voice across all channels, • Oversee website content updates and support SEO initiatives Events & Conferences • Identify and evaluate industry events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities aligned with target audiences, • Manage end-to-end execution of events including conferences, roundtables, webinars, and investor engagements, • Develop event materials, messaging, and follow-up strategies to maximize ROI, • Track event performance and maintain a pipeline of relevant opportunities Media & PR • Support press outreach efforts including drafting press releases, media pitches, and firm announcements, • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry publications, • Coordinate media opportunities for senior leadership (interviews, bylined articles, commentary), • Monitor industry news and identify timely PR opportunities What we’re looking for: • 4–7 years of marketing experience, preferably within financial services, asset management, or alternative investments, • Demonstrated success in LinkedIn strategy and social media management, • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly, • Experience planning and executing events and sponsorships, • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Nice to have: • Experience marketing to institutional investors, family offices, or high-net-worth individuals, • Familiarity with financial marketing regulations (e.g., SEC guidelines), • Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and analytics tools, • Background in media relations or public relations This role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while helping to shape and scale a growing brand in a competitive market.
