Georgia Licensed Pharmacist, Low THC Oil Program Location: Georgia Role Type: Full-time, part-time, or contract structure to be determined Schedule: Based on operational needs Compensation: $50 to $70 per hour, based on experience, schedule, and final role scope Help build a disciplined, pharmacist-led access model in one of Georgia’s most closely regulated healthcare programs. We are preparing to support participation in Georgia’s state-authorized Low THC Oil dispensing framework through properly licensed Georgia pharmacy operations and approved Georgia medical cannabis channels. This role is designed for a Georgia-licensed pharmacist who understands the importance of regulated healthcare, pharmacy compliance, patient verification, documentation, and operating with precision. This is not a recreational cannabis role. This is a compliance-first pharmacy operations position serving qualified Georgia patients and caregivers under applicable Georgia law, Georgia Board of Pharmacy requirements, Georgia Medical Cannabis Commission rules, and counsel-reviewed operating procedures. Responsibilities • Support compliant pharmacy dispensing workflows for Georgia Low THC Oil products, • Verify patient or caregiver identity and active registry card status before dispensing, • Review the Georgia PDMP before dispensing, as required by applicable rules, • Review labels, product documentation, and required patient information, • Maintain accurate inventory, receiving, storage, and dispensing records, • Follow written SOPs and maintain clean documentation, • Participate in staff training, audits, inspections, and corrective actions, • Coordinate with licensed suppliers, pharmacy leadership, and compliance teams, • Help maintain secure storage, restricted access, and compliant product handling, • Escalate adverse events, inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or compliance concerns, • Maintain patient confidentiality and professional pharmacy practice standards Required Qualifications • Active, unrestricted Georgia pharmacist license, • Strong attention to detail and comfort operating under strict SOPs, • Professional judgment, discretion, and comfort working in a regulated healthcare setting, • Ability to review patient information, registry documentation, and pharmacy records carefully, • Familiarity with PDMP systems or ability to follow required PDMP workflows, • Strong communication skills and patient-facing professionalism, • Ability to work onsite in Georgia as needed, • Interest in Georgia’s medical cannabis access framework and compliant pharmacy operations Preferred Qualifications • Retail, community, hospital, clinical, or specialty pharmacy experience, • Experience with patient verification, inventory documentation, or regulated pharmacy records, • Exposure to pharmacy audits, inspections, or compliance workflows, • Experience with SOPs, pharmacy operations, or healthcare compliance, • Pharmacist-in-Charge experience is a plus, but not required Why This Role This is an opportunity to help build a responsible, pharmacist-led operating model in an emerging Georgia healthcare category.
