To learn more, visit wearedream.org. The Data Team builds the infrastructure, systems, and support that make data a valuable strategic asset across DREAM. We believe data should enhance people’s work, and we strive to make it easier for staff to access the insights they need to improve outcomes, uphold standards, and meet the needs of every student. The Data Coordinator is part of the Network Support Team, and splits time 40/60 between home and the network office. A successful data coordinator balances the work of advancing data infrastructure for the PK-8 schools with the on the ground, day-to-day programmatic support that running a CMO entails. Reporting to the Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment, the Data Coordinator: PK-8 will strategically support the data team in this growth plan through data collection, management, reporting, and analysis.Responsibilities • Data Collection & Management, • Ensure DREAM’s PK-8 Student Information Systems are the network’s single source of truth for all relevant data;, • Maintain existing and build new data tools for academic and non-academic stakeholders;, • Support the test administration process for all DREAM PK-8 assessments to ensure that testing procedures are routine;, • Collaborate with the Director of Special Education and Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment to ensure that all mandated testing accommodations are adhered to for students with disabilities;, • With the Network Director of PK-8 Data and Assessment, oversee system compliance of enrollment, attendance, and grading policies., • Data Reporting & Analysis, • Build and maintain data reports and visualizations to display student achievement results and key performance metrics;, • Provide clean, transformed, analysis-ready data sets to stakeholders, utilizing DREAM’s data stack to model data in a way that empowers end users to answer their own questions;, • Support school-based staff in using data tools and reports for continuous improvement;, • Provide additional data reporting and analysis as needed for external accountability, compliance, and teacher evaluation.Qualifications, • Bachelor’s degree, required;, • Experience analyzing data with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail using Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets, required;, • At least 1 years experience in education, youth development, and/or data analysis, preferred;, • Experience creating data dashboards and visualizations;, • Adept at distilling and communicating complex concepts to various audiences in a clear and concise manner;, • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, solutions-focused manner;, • Skilled in creating and implementing project plans to tackle long-term assignments;, • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines;, • Experience with SQL preferred;, • Familiarity with cloud data warehouse solutions a plus (ex: Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake);, • Familiarity with data visualization tools a plus (ex: Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc).Working Expectations, • The Data Coordinator is part of the Data Team, which currently works 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote, per week (subject to change).Benefits and Paid Time Off, • We offer comprehensive benefits including:, • Flexible Medical Health Plans, subsidizing the majority of costs for the employee, their spouse/domestic partner and children;, • The ability to select between a variety of medical plans according to what best suits the employee’s needs;, • Dental and vision plans;, • Disability benefits;, • Life insurance;, • Up to 12 weeks fully paid of Parental Leave;, • Flexible spending account options;, • Pre-tax commuter benefits (parking and transit);, • Fitness and entertainment discounts;, • A variety of support through our employee assistance program (EAP);, • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match starting at 4% after one year, with increases tied to DREAM tenure;, • Referral, performance, and tenure milestones bonuses;, • Discounted school meals through our in-house Scratch Food Program;, • Tuition reimbursement support (All FT Roles);, • Access to a professional development fund (NEST Roles);, • All full-time Network Support Team employees are eligible for approximately 48 days off throughout the year including holidays, sick days, personal days and summer Fridays., • Benefits are subject to change.Compensation
