Job DescriptionBenefits: • Employee discounts, • Opportunity for advancement Ideal line cook candidates will have at least 1-2 years line cook experience. This candidate should be able to grill and saut menu items to order in a fast pace setting. This position also includes cooking fresh pasta to order along with cooking meats and fish to temp. Example: rare, medium rare, medium, etc. A line cook must be able to follow house recipes, preform minor butchering and prep the menu items for service. Being able to make sauces is preferred, but not a must; we will train this candidate on how we like them done. We are a growing company and there are possibilities for advancement within the team. Job Type: Full time Job duties: • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, • Follow recipes and presentation specifications, • Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently, • Clean and maintain station while practicing good safety and sanitation, • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen equipment, • Restock items as needed throughout the shift, • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes Salary: $17-$20 per hour Must have weekend availability. Benefits/Perks • Flexible Scheduling, • Competitive Compensation Duties and Responsibilities: • Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment, • Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner, • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary, • Follow all food safety regulations, • Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures, • Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management Qualifications:, • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure, • Excellent time management skills, • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
