About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at our sauce manufacturing facility in Totowa, New Jersey. The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and efficiency of facility infrastructure through a wide range of repair and maintenance activities. This is a first-shift position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Key Responsibilities • Operate and maintain two (2) high-pressure boilers, including startup, shutdown, daily inspections, water treatment, and vendor coordination, • Oversee the wastewater treatment system, including calibration, pH monitoring, sample management, housekeeping, and vendor support, • Perform repairs or coordinate vendor services for facility systems such as fire protection, electrical, plumbing, solar, and HVAC, • Manage and execute the HVAC filter replacement program, • Conduct and documents required safety inspections, including stormwater, roofing, life safety systems, fire extinguishers, PPE, hoists, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, fall protection, and ladders, • Participate as a member of the confined space entry team (training provided if needed), • Maintain lockout/tagout equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols, • Valid New Jersey Black Seal High-Pressure Boiler License required, • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required; degree not required, • Experience with high-pressure boiler systems, water treatment, and mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting, • Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices, • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn facility management systems, • Employee Assistance Program, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), • Wellness Program, • Voluntary benefits, • 401(k) plan, • Paid holidays
