This role requires flexibility, clinical expertise, and the ability to safely manage complex patients including trauma cases, heparin drips, and acute medications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in EPIC EMR, able to use specialty equipment, and possess strong critical thinking skills for floating between units with varying patient populations. • Float to multiple med/surg units as needed, including 5A Surgical ACE., • Provide care for adult and older adult populations with a ratio of 1:5., • Administer medications, including heparin drips and other acute meds as ordered., • Utilize specialty equipment: gait belts, geriatric chairs, PT equipment., • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care., • Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC EMR., • Maintain patient safety, dignity, and adherence to infection control practices., • BLS and ACLS Certification – Required, • Previous experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing required, • Skilled in floating between multiple units and handling complex patient populations, • Experience with skilled nursing, rehab, or prior NICHE training a plus, • Must be flexible with weekend and weekday coverage, • ✅ Complete Work History / Resume – No gaps >60 days, • ✅ Skills Checklist – Updated and signed, • ✅ Professional References – Minimum two, • ✅ Certification Card(s) – Current BLS/ACLS, • ✅ Demographic Info – Fully loaded, including badge-appropriate photo “We are an equal opportunity employer.
