This person will take full ownership of the health, structure, and usability of our marketing data ecosystem across HubSpot, Airtable, and other tools. They’ll design and maintain scalable data models, optimize workflows, and deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics that inform key business decisions. This person will serve as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Product Development, and Digital, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and leveraged to its fullest potential. Their work will directly shape how our teams operate, measure success, and drive growth across the organization. Responsibilities • Own HubSpot & Airtable data models: define schemas, naming conventions, properties, lifecycle stages, and object relationships; add/retire properties and fields the right way; create new properties, often involving formulas and/or scripts., • Segmentation: Leverage data to create and manage segments for use in marketing and sales., • Reporting & analytics: build dashboards for marketing, sales, and leadership; translate questions into clear metrics and insights., • Data quality & governance: dedupe contacts and companies, fix bad data at scale, implement validation rules, QA/UAT changes, and document standards., • Workflow & automation: create and maintain HubSpot workflows and Airtable automations; safely integrate with tools (e.g., Shopify, Zapier, GA4)., • Cross-functional enablement: advise Customer Service, Sales, Product Development, and Digital teams on best-practice data structures related to marketing; assist with integrations, imports, data changes, templates, and process design., • Access & safeguards: manage permissions, backups, sandbox/testing, and change management to protect production data., • Problem solving: proactively investigate issues, propose options with trade-offs, and implement the fix end-to-end., • Data delivery for cross-functional team: ensure internal partners can query/export the right data while preserving integrity and performance. Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements • 4–7 years in Marketing Ops, RevOps, CRM Ops, including hands-on ownership of HubSpot and Airtable at meaningful scale., • Strong grasp of data modeling (objects, relationships, normalization vs. usability), governance, and change management., • Fluent in HubSpot Marketing, CRM, Operations Hub (properties, workflows, lists, dedupe, lifecycle, lead routing) and Airtable (schemas, interfaces, automations)., • Experience creating and managing properties, often involving formulas, scripts, and integrations with other tools like Zapier or ChatGPT., • Demonstrated experience building dashboards/reports and defining metrics., • Excellent cross-functional communication; can translate requirements into scalable system designs., • Comfort balancing speed with risk: you test, document, and roll out safely., • Nice to have: Code writing and scripting (JavaScript/Python) for property creation and data cleanup; experience with Shopify, GA4/Looker Studio/Power BI, and ETL/connectors.
