Job Description General Manager — Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Location: Amarillo, Texas Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 + Bonus Relocation: none Reports To: District Manager To Apply: Please send resumes to Jay Bush at Position Overview We are looking for a motivated, hands-on General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy Quick Service Restaurant in Amarillo, TX. This role is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant — team leadership, operational execution, and financial performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the front, and understands how to balance guest experience with strong operational discipline. You will serve as the primary leader in the restaurant, setting expectations for service standards, food quality, and team accountability while driving consistent results. Key Responsibilities Operations & Brand Standards • Ensure all company operating procedures and brand standards are consistently executed., • Maintain strict food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with local health regulations., • Oversee product ordering, receiving, and inventory management to minimize shortages and waste., • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep., • Manage scheduling and daily shift execution to maintain smooth operations during all dayparts. Team Leadership & Development • Recruit, hire, train, and coach hourly team members and shift leaders., • Build a positive team culture focused on accountability, communication, and performance., • Conduct regular performance feedback and develop future leaders within the restaurant., • Lead pre-shift meetings and provide on-the-floor coaching during peak periods., • Address employee concerns and resolve team conflicts professionally and promptly. Guest Experience • Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service., • Respond to guest feedback and resolve service issues immediately., • Maintain a visible presence on the floor during high-volume periods., • Promote a service-first culture where hospitality is a daily expectation. Financial & Administrative Performance • Control labor, food cost, and operating expenses to meet company targets., • Review daily sales, productivity, and operational metrics to improve performance., • Manage cash handling, deposits, and required administrative reporting., • Execute local marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts., • Drive sales through effective operations and consistent service execution. Qualifications • 2+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience (QSR or fast-casual preferred), • Strong leadership and team-building skills, • Experience managing labor and food cost controls, • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, • High energy, strong work ethic, and a hands-on leadership approach, • Basic computer and reporting skills What We’re Looking For: We need a leader who is comfortable being on the floor, coaching employees, and solving problems in real time.
