Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices Support food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to sanitation regulations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts, balancing multiple tables with efficiency Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales while ensuring guest satisfaction Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus; culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences.
