Job DescriptionSalary: Commensurate Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician Are you sick and tired of the schedule and money inconsistencies of the flat rate world? Look no further, Dashlight Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Calibration Technician to join us in the fastest growing niche in the automotive repair industry. Job candidates need to be willing to learn and grow within the future technology of the automotive industry, specifically in regards to the increased need for the ADAS calibration on vehicles. Qualified candidates should should possess knowledge and experience in the following areas : • Vehicle scanning and diagnostics, • OEM and Aftermarket scan tools, • DVOM for electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics, • Be able to read and understand wiring schematics and diagnostic trouble trees, • Ability to read and understand using a tape measure for target and calibration stand placement, • Ability to utilize Microsoft Windows and Google Documents, • Valid and clean drivers license, • Static / Dynamic Calibrations in house and mobile, • Pre / Post Scanning, • Documenting Completed Repairs, • OEM Training, • Test Drives, • Trouble Shooting, • Minor Mechanical Repairs, • Valid drivers license, • Open to learn OEM & AM Scan Tools Required Skills and Qualifications: Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive repair, business management, or related field preferred., • Minimum 1-2 within the automotive repair or body shop industry preferred. Skills and Competencies: • Strong knowledge of automotive body repair procedures, materials, and labor requirements., • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple estimates and repairs simultaneously., • Proficiency in computer programs that diagnose automotive problems, • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in both paperwork and repair analysis. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, and inspect vehicles for prolonged periods., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more unassisted., • Comfortable working in a body shop environment, which may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and chemicals. Job Description JOB SUMMARY Specialty Systems, Inc. has an opening for a Computer Scientist / Software Engineer to join our team of technical professionals supporting Government customers and national security mission requirements. In this role, you will support the design, development, testing, and sustainment of software-intensive systems used in military command and control, cryptologic mission activities, and other weapons and intelligence systems. The position involves working within Government-provided environments and adhering to established engineering processes, documentation standards, and development practices. As a member of the Specialty Systems team, you will contribute directly to software solutions that support critical defense and intelligence missions. This position is located at our customer site location at Joint Base MDL. In this position, you will work our customer’s Compressed Work Schedule which consists of working four 9hour days (M-Th) and an 8-hour day (F) for the first week of a cycle followed by four 9-hour days (M-Th) and being off on the second Friday for the second week of a cycle. This results in a 3-day weekend every other week!
