This role also manages uniform inventory, oversees NYS license compliance tasks, and provides general administrative support as needed. Strong data entry capabilities, exceptional customer service, and proficient computer skills are essential. The ideal candidate excels at multitasking, problem-solving, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities * Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner. * Greet and assist walk-in visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. * Maintain a clean and organized front-desk area. * Track, organize, and distribute uniforms to employees. * Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders as needed. * Maintain accurate records of issued and returned uniform items. * Support compliance processes by collecting, reviewing, and uploading required documentation. * Track license expiration dates and assist employees with renewal guidance. * Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with state requirements. * Perform accurate and timely data entry across various systems and platforms. * Assist with scheduling, filing, recordkeeping, and general office organization. * Support internal departments with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. * Provide exceptional service to employees, candidates, partners, and visitors. * Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency. * Communicate effectively across teams to ensure smooth office operations. * Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Identify issues proactively and offer solutions to enhance workflow efficiency. Qualifications Education & Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required, • 1-3 years in administrative office environment working with executive management level staff, customer service and administrative clerical responsibilities, • Exemplary organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task., • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding candidate compensation rates and personal/medical information., • The ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment., • Solid time management skills, exceptional verbal and written communication ability as well as a high level of attention to detail., • Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phone and ability to effectively use persuasive communication skills. Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
