To meet the demand for its solutions we are looking to add a talented and driven Technical Service Engineer to join our team. This position is open to both our Markham, ON Canada and Suwanee, GA USA offices on a hybrid/field-based model Job Responsibilities • Provide onsite and remote technical support for robotic automation systems, including AMR and robot shuttle (G2P) solutions., • Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance during deployment and ongoing service phases., • Diagnose hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software issues using system logs, diagnostic tools, data analysis, and onsite observation., • Respond to service tickets and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear, professional communication with customers., • Collaborate closely with Product and R&D teams to resolve complex, system-level technical issues., • Collect, document, and analyze field issues, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions, to support continuous product and service improvement., • Deliver technical training and operational guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams as required., • Adhere to established service processes, safety procedures, and documentation standards., • Travel to customer sites as required, including domestic and international travel, depending on project needs., • Translate advanced robotics and automation technical knowledge into practical solutions, documentation, and training materials. Required Qualifications • Bachelors degree (4-year) in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience., • Hands-on experience with robotic systems, automation equipment, or related electromechanical systems., • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software domains., • Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments., • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English., • Demonstrated teamwork, customer service orientation, and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with PLC systems (e.g., Sick, Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell)., • Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, ProfNet, TCP/IP)., • Familiarity with Linux-based systems, command-line tools, and log analysis., • Understanding of warehouse automation, material handling, or intralogistics systems., • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings., • Prior experience delivering technical training to customers or internal teams., • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is highly desired, to support cross-regional teams and customers. Expectations • Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and customer focus in all interactions., • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, domestically and internationally, based on business and project requirements., • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada, as applicable to the work location.
