Position Overview The Vice President, Family Office Services will be a core member of Intellectus’s Family Office Services team. Working directly with Jeff Saccacio, one of the country’s most respected tax and estate planning leaders, you will help deliver deeply sophisticated planning for some of the most complex founder and entrepreneurial families in the ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with a tax (CPA), legal (JD/LLM), or advanced wealth planning background who wants to operate in a modern, fast-paced environment and eventually step into expanded leadership responsibilities over 3–5 years. In addition to technical planning, this VP will play an important role in Intellectus Connexus—the firm’s value-creation network—by identifying collaboration opportunities among clients, cultivating strategic partners, and expanding a best-in-class service provider ecosystem. Key Responsibilities 1. Advanced Family Office & Wealth Strategy • Support and help lead complex trust & estate planning engagements, • Analyze legal structures, tax positioning, and entity architecture for entrepreneurial clients, • Coordinate with external attorneys, accountants, and tax/legal specialists, • Assist with multigenerational strategy, gifting, succession planning, and business transition design, • Build and enhance Client relationships through planning 2. Financial Planning & Technical Modeling • Build comprehensive financial plans, projections, liquidity strategies, and advanced cash-flow models, • Support planning related to equity comp, liquidity events, concentrated positions, and exit scenarios, • Maintain deep fluency in tax laws, estate strategies, regulatory dynamics 3. Client Engagement & Advisory Support • Attend client meetings with founders, executives, and multigenerational families, • Translate complex tax/legal/planning concepts into clear, actionable advice, • Work closely with Jeff and senior advisors on high-stakes client planning, • Travel as needed for relationship building and high-impact in-person sessions 4. Business Development, Expansion & Client Retention • Participate in new client presentations and prospect engagement, • Help identify planning-driven opportunities to expand relationships, • Improve client retention through high-touch planning and proactive insights, • Develop planning materials, proposals, frameworks, and intellectual capital that positions Intellectus as an elite advisory partner 5. Strategic Networking & Value Creation A core differentiator of Intellectus is our ability not just to advise—but to connect. The VP will help unlock value across the Intellectus ecosystem by: • Identifying opportunities for client collaboration or strategic alignment, • Facilitating introductions between founders, operators, investors, and innovators, • Cultivating and curating a “Partner & Service Provider Ecosystem” including attorneys, accountants, fiduciaries, private bankers, trust companies, PE/VC partners, consultants, and specialty experts, • Helping create structured frameworks to amplify Intellectus’s network as a strategic asset, • Bringing forward new opportunities and insights that benefit clients, partners, or the broader ecosystem This is a hybrid role that blends technical excellence with relationship intelligence. 6. Operational Excellence & Scalability • Maintain rigorous organization and planning discipline, • Manage multiple planning projects in a fast-paced environment, • Help build FOS infrastructure, processes, and workflows as the team scales, • Contribute to thought leadership and the evolution of Family Office Services Ideal Candidate Profile Experience • 3–8 years at a Big 4 accounting firm, trust/estate law firm, private bank, or UHNW wealth platform, • Strong background in tax, trust & estate, legal, entity structuring, or advanced planning, • Experience with entrepreneurial clients, business owners, or multi-entity complexity Credentials (preferred) • CPA, JD, LLM, CFP, CTEP, or similar advanced designation Attributes • Highly organized, structured, logical thinker, • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment, • Exceptional communicator with the ability to simplify complexity, • Comfortable interacting with sophisticated clients, • Strong relationship instincts and interest in building a strategic network, • Ambitious, curious, and eager to learn from one of the industry’s best (Jeff), • Leadership aspirations within a 3–5 year horizon What Success Looks Like12–18 Months • Master Intellectus planning frameworks, • Deliver high-quality advanced planning work, • Begin playing a meaningful role in Connexus and partner ecosystem development, • Support both planning and business development initiatives 3–5 Years • Operate as a senior leader in Family Office Services, • Potentially assume expanded leadership responsibilities as Jeff transitions, • Become a primary architect of Intellectus’s network, ecosystem, and planning platform Why Intellectus • Work directly with Jeff Saccacio, David J La Placa & Jay Casey one of the most respected Family Office leadership teams in the industry, • Serve a uniquely dynamic client base of founders, innovators, and entrepreneurial families, • Operate at the intersection of planning, strategy, network intelligence, and execution, • Real leadership runway—not theoretical, • Help build the next evolution of a modern Family Office platform
