As a Senior Director Digital Innovation and Multimedia, is responsible for translating approved marketing strategy and brand direction into high-quality creative output through hands-on production and modern, scalable systems. The Senior Director focuses on creating multimedia assets, ensuring speed, quality, consistency, and efficiency across all multimedia and digital channels. This role also owns website execution, including ongoing updates, content publishing, and optimization, ensuring the site remains current, functional, and aligned with approved messaging and priorities. Operating in a small, agile environment, this role blends leadership and execution to strengthen internal capabilities and reduce reliance on external vendors. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the SVP of Marketing & Communications and in close partnership with the AVPs of Marketing & Communications, the Senior Director, Digital Innovation & Multimedia is responsible for leading the operational execution of creative production and multimedia execution across the organization. This includes video and content production, managing digital execution, optimizing marketing technology and workflows, and continuously improving creative systems and processes. The Senior Director owns executional decision-making for creative production while aligning all work to campaign priorities, brand standards, and approvals established by department leaders. This role ensures that creative assets are delivered on time, at a high level of quality, and in support of organizational goals. Multimedia & Content Production • Lead video and multimedia production from pre-production through final delivery, including concept development, filming, editing, and post-production., • Serve as the primary hands-on creator of video, motion graphics, print and digital storytelling., • Produce/edit short- and long-form video content for digital platforms, events, donor communications, executive needs and organizational storytelling., • Manage production schedules, workflows and delivery timelines for all multimedia assets., • Develop drafts and asset updates internally to accelerate production and reduce reliance on vendors., • Lead optimization and implementation of marketing technology tools including CMS, email platforms, automation tools, analytics and AI-enabled workflows., • Introduce scalable systems, templates and production processes to improve efficiency., • Test and recommend new tools, platforms and formats to improve creative output and speed to market., • Serve as the department’s lead for creative workflow innovation, with SVP approval for process changes impacting teams or stakeholders., • Own day-to-day execution of the organization’s website, including content updates, page builds and routine maintenance., • Implement approved messaging, creative assets and campaign content across the website., • Optimize site structure, usability and content to improve clarity, engagement and performance., • Partner with IT and/ or vendors as needed to support technical updates, enhancements and fixes., • Monitor website performance and functionality, identifying opportunities and flagging risks., • Partner with the AVPs to translate campaign strategy and priorities into executable creative plans., • Serves as the point of contact for creative/production intake, scheduling, timelines and deliverable tracking., • Collaborate with teams to understand content needs and execution timelines., • Support executive communications through video production, presentations and special initiatives., • Establish and maintain creative production standards, templates, and best practices., • Identify opportunities to improve turnaround time, reduce bottlenecks, and elevate quality across all creative outputs., • Monitor execution metrics and production efficiency to inform process improvements., • Functional lead and subject matter expert for multimedia production and operations., • Mentor M&C team members, providing guidance on innovation, efficiencies, execution, creativity, and technology., • Support M&C leadership in executing strategic direction and allocating resources to maximize impact. Experience Requirements: 5+ years of proven experience in Marketing, brand management, advertising, or creative services. Experience in marketing in both B2B and B2C is a plus. Experience in an e-commerce company is a plus. Proven knowledge of best practices spanning a wide variety of channels, including email, print, web/mobile, and social media. Proficiency in consumer research. People management experience preferred. Technology Requirements: Office Suite; Teams, Outlook, Adobe, Zoom; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience a plus; Knowledge of modern web browsers.
