You will own the commissioning planning, documentation, scheduling, and resource coordination across multiple active project sites. This is a great role for someone looking to play an important technical role at a fast-growing PE-backed business. You will report to our VP of Project Engineering and Preconstruction and will be a hybrid role based out of our Oakland, CA, Santa Monica, CA, Ridgewood, NJ, or NYC offices. Key responsibilities will include: • Develop, manage, and maintain commissioning plans, schedules, and execution strategies across multiple microgrid projects simultaneously., • Define commissioning scope, sequencing, resource requirements, readiness criteria, acceptance criteria, and handoff requirements for solar PV, BESS, generators, switchgear, protection, and controls., • Establish and maintain standardized commissioning processes, templates, procedures, and documentation to be used across the project portfolio., • Track commissioning progress, risks, and constraints across all active sites and communicate status to project leadership., • Coordinate commissioning activities performed by EPCs, OEMs, integrators, utilities, and third-party independent commissioning agents., • Manage interfaces between commissioning activities and construction completion, energization, and utility interconnection.
