The Clinical Operations Lead is responsible for the operational environment in which our doctors practice, including scheduling, workflow, support-team allocation, operational expectations, efficiency, and implementation of established practice policies. Demonstrated technical proficiency, leadership ability, maturity, and judgment are more important to us than credentials alone. Experience in specialty medicine, oncology, integrative medicine, or a high-touch client-care environment is a plus but not required. What Success Looks Like Over time, the person in this role becomes the first point of contact for routine operational and team matters. You'll understand what's happening across the practice, identify problems before they become larger issues, develop solutions, support and hold the team accountable, and help create an environment where doctors can focus on medicine and the owner can focus on medical leadership and business strategy. Success in this role means helping PRISM grow revenue and capacity while becoming simpler, more organized, and less dependent on owner involvement. We are looking for someone who wants to be able to say: “I understand what we're trying to accomplish, I know what needs my attention, and I can take ownership of getting it done.” Schedule This is a full-time, five-day-per-week salaried position. The role will initially average approximately 60% clinical work and 40% operational leadership, although responsibilities will flex throughout the week based on practice needs. Some schedule flexibility is important as the practice evolves, including the possibility of future Saturday coverage. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $70,000–$80,000, based on veterinary experience, technical proficiency, leadership experience, and demonstrated ability to independently own practice operations. Performance-based bonus opportunities may also be available based on achievement of defined practice and operational goals.
