Job Description Job Title: Social Work Supervisor (LMSW) Location: Queens, NY Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Model: 90% Office-Based | 10% Local Travel Lead and Support a Mission-Driven Guardianship Team We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to serve as a Supervisor for our Article 81 Guardianship Program. In this role, you will oversee a team of Case Managers while ensuring high-quality, client-centered services for vulnerable individuals who require guardianship support. This position combines clinical oversight, program leadership, and collaboration with healthcare and legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Program Leadership * Provide guidance, coaching, and direct supervision to Case Managers within the Article 81 Guardianship program. * Review and approve client assessments, care plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality care. * Serve as a clinical resource for complex cases, ethical issues, and crisis situations. * Develop and refine workflows, procedures, and best practices to improve program quality and staff performance. Collaboration, Advocacy & Administration * Coordinate with healthcare providers, legal professionals, families, and community partners to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care. * Represent the program in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and stakeholder discussions. * Oversee caseload distribution, staff productivity, and compliance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements. * Support audits, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives. * Travel locally within the city and surrounding areas as needed to support staff, attend meetings, or address client needs. Required Qualifications * Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in good standing. * Previous experience in supervision, case management, guardianship, or healthcare/legal social service settings strongly preferred. * Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally when needed. Preferred Experience * Background working in nursing homes, hospitals, or elderly care settings. * Experience supporting individuals with complex medical, legal, or psychosocial needs. Schedule * Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM * Primarily office-based (90%) with occasional local travel (10%).
