Job DescriptionJob Title: Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. You will play a crucial role as a general warehouse worker, supporting line production through tasks such as raw material delivery, staging, loading and unloading trucks with inbound and outbound deliveries, and scanning products in and out of the warehouse. Responsibilities • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts effectively., • Support line production with raw material delivery and staging., • Load and unload trucks with inbound and outbound deliveries., • Scan products in and out of the warehouse using RF scanners., • Perform order picking and manage inventory efficiently.Essential Skills, • Minimum of 1 year experience with reach truck operation., • Proficiency in operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts., • Experience in food manufacturing environments., • Competence in material handling and inventory management., • Familiarity with RF scanners.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Background in food manufacturing is preferred., • Recent experience as a forklift operator is essential.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates in a non-temperature controlled environment, frequently transitioning between freezers/fridges and hot production rooms. Shifts are available from 8am-4:30pm and 11am-7:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work. As this is a cGMP plant, adherence to safety protocols such as wearing lab coats, hair nets, and performing hand and shoe washing is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
