Job Description Position Purpose: Follows snowmaking operations plan as set forth by the Snowmaking Supervisor. Coordinates operations with other Snowmakers. Qualifications: • 18 years of age or older, • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions, • 5 years’ Ski area/industry experience, Preferred, • Understanding of mechanical operations, diesel engines, hydraulics and hydrostatic drives, preferred, • Experience working with and around heavy equipment, preferred but not required, • Ability to speak, read and write English, • Must be punctual and reliable, • Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team, • Operates Snowmaking equipment as directed by the Snowmaking Operation Plan, • Becomes familiar with operating instructions of all Snowmaking equipment.
