Job Description The Unaccompanied Children Program provides long term and transitional residential care and other supportive services to Unaccompanied Children (UC) who are under legal custody of the Federal Government. Working in collaboration with the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement, ORR, our program provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth in a Basic Shelter program located at our licensed residential facilities as well as a Transitional Foster Care program in foster homes in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Westchester. In all programs, we provide therapeutic, medical and educational services, as well as other supports that youth need to achieve success through an array of strength-based and targeted interventions as we link them with family members and/or other sponsors in the United States. Reporting to Supervising Case Manager, Case Manager is the front line of service delivery and key to ensuring that the program meets its mandate. Specifically, the Case Manager will supervise SRP participants according to their assigned tier and level; work with participants to identify and address barriers to compliance and court attendance; conduct outreach to participants, court stakeholders, community-based service providers, and collateral contacts; connect participants to appropriate services in the community to support their stabilization, and ensure accurate and timely court reporting on participants’ compliance with program requirements. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Position responsibilities: • Build, configure, and maintain DevOps infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem), • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and related tools, • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to support rapid and secure software delivery, • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Datadog, AppDynamics, or New Relic, • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation, • Support release management processes across Dev/Test/Prod environments, • Work with development and data teams to integrate applications into the DevOps-managed environment, • Attend stand-ups and planning sessions to stay aligned with product and infrastructure roadmaps, • Provide documentation and knowledge sharing for operational processes and tooling, • Consult peer teams for feedback during the design, testing, and implementation stages, • All other duties as assigned or required Skills and experience: Required: • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications, • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required, • Ability to travel, as required, • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, • Proficiency in AWS or Azure architecture, configuration, and security, • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, • Strong Terraform skills, including use of Terragrunt and advanced workflows, • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps tools (Flux, ArgoCD), • Familiarity with microservices deployment and release automation, • Experience deploying .NET Core containers on Linux and scripting in Linux/Windows, • Knowledge of open-source and NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch), • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or associated discipline, • Experience with ETL workflows and tools such as AWS EMR, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Hive, Spark, or Airflow, • Experience deploying AKS/EKS/GKE via IaC, • Familiarity with enterprise Data Lake environments (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) Competencies: • Expert analytical/quantitative, problem-solving, and deductive reasoning skills, with experience performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical issues., • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills and ability to work either independently and in a team environment to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely, • Experience working with all levels of business professionals, management, stakeholders, and vendors with ability to build effective relationships through trust and diplomacy Cooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position with a full-time schedule is $155,000 - $220,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
