The R&D and Order Fulfillment business units are based in Dallas, Texas. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and articulate Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional English communication skills—both written and verbal—and a passion for creating clear, user-friendly documentation. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to produce and maintain high-quality documentation for our products and internal tools. Responsibilities • Create, edit, and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and API references., • Develop and organize content for both Word-based documents (e.g., reports, manuals) and online documentation portals., • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all materials., • Use Markdown (preferred) and other markup or publishing tools to create and format online documentation., • Maintain document version control and ensure consistency of tone, terminology, and branding., • Participate in reviews and continuously improve documentation processes and templates. Qualifications • Excellent command of English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills., • Proven experience in creating technical documentation for software, hardware, or technical services., • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign and other documentation tools., • Experience with online documentation platforms such as Confluence, ReadTheDocs, GitBook, or similar., • Familiarity with Markdown formatting., • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently., • Keen curiosity to dig into details of system architecture and understand how things work from a customer perspective by using the system., • Ability to put yourself in the shoes of your audience and anticipate questions and answers from their perspective., • Experience with user-centered design methodologies., • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Experience • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)., • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or Markdown-based publishing systems., • Exposure to software development environments or technical writing for APIs.
