Job Description JOB ID: SS001610 Position: CT/XRAY Shift Notes: Day Location: Sherman Oaks, CA 91401 Start date: ASAP Per Diem Pay: $70-$75 per hour Position Summary: The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures including Computed Tomography (CT) and general radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The technologist ensures high-quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety, following all regulatory and departmental standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders., • Verify patient identification and obtain relevant medical history prior to procedures., • Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images., • Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner., • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles., • Prepare and administer contrast media as required, following safety and allergy protocols., • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness before submission to radiologists., • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the PACS/RIS systems., • Provide excellent patient care and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor., • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care., • Participate in continuing education and maintain current certifications and licensure. Qualifications: • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program., • Licensure/Certification:, • ARRT (R) certification required., • ARRT (CT) preferred or must be obtained within 612 months of hire., • State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable)., • Current BLS certification required., • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology; CT experience preferred. Job DescriptionWe are a growing urgent care in Ladera Heights California in search of an X-ray Technician/Medical Assistant. That is, a limited or full x-ray technician that can also function as a medical assistant. The staff is supportive and we will make sure to help train to the point that you are comfortable with all duties. Back office duties would include taking x-rays, drawing blood, giving injections, EKGs, ear lavages, point of care testing, etc. We are able to train on most back office duties except the blood draws/injections.
