Job DescriptionFacilities Maintenance Technician Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of building systems and infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained, with no direct involvement in production or manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, • Repair and maintain lighting, outlets, fixtures, doors, windows, and flooring, • Troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues such as leaks, electrical faults, and structural repairs, • Complete preventative maintenance on building systems (HVAC filters, minor plumbing, etc.), • Perform basic carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep, • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, • Maintain exterior areas including grounds, walkways, and general cleanliness, • Monitor and maintain maintenance inventory and order supplies as needed, • Document work orders, repairs, and inspections accurately, • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and building codesQualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent required, • 3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience preferred, • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair, • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively, • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, • Basic understanding of safety procedures and building maintenance standards Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
