Organic Growth builds sustainable, compounding growth engines for Preply. Within the team, Product Led Growth and Pricing & Discounting are two strategic areas with the potential to unlock non‑linear growth, improve learner lifetime value and strengthen the economics of our marketplace. Product Led Growth already has a dedicated cross‑functional product team, including Product, Design, Analytics and Engineering. Pricing and Discounting is the next area of strategic development, with further product investment planned as part of Preply's growth agenda. You will report to the Senior Director of Organic Growth and take responsibility for agreed commercial KPIs across both areas. In your first year, your priorities will be to accelerate the performance and strategic development of Product Led Growth, while defining Preply's Pricing and Discounting strategy, principles and investment priorities. You will initially manage one analyst responsible for day‑to‑day Product Led Growth analytics, with the potential to grow the team as the scope develops. This high‑visibility role offers the opportunity to scale an established growth engine while building Preply's approach to Pricing and Discounting from the ground up. It is a full‑time role based in Barcelona, combining regular collaboration in our office with the flexibility to work remotely. What you’ll be doing: Own the business and product strategy for Product Led Growth and Pricing and Discounting, turning Preply's company priorities into clear choices, roadmaps and measurable commercial outcomes. Take responsibility for agreed commercial KPIs, including Product Led Growth NSGMV and share of NSGMV, incremental total lifetime value, margin and LTV to CAC efficiency. Accelerate Product Led Growth by identifying and prioritising opportunities across referrals, advocacy, sharing, incentives and other product‑led acquisition and retention mechanics. Build Preply's Pricing and Discounting strategy across the marketplace, including our approach to tutor pricing, learner‑facing prices, promotions, discounts, credits and incentives. Develop business cases, proofs of concept and MVPs that allow Preply to validate opportunities before making deeper product or organisational investments. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Finance and other Growth leaders to shape roadmaps, design experiments and balance learner value, tutor outcomes, growth, margin and marketplace health. Own the performance and decision‑making framework for the portfolio, ensuring teams have clear KPIs, reliable measurement and a regular cadence for reviewing progress and reallocating investment. Use quantitative and qualitative insight to identify strategic and tactical growth opportunities, challenge assumptions and turn complex analysis into clear recommendations. Build alignment across senior stakeholders and communicate strategy, trade‑offs, progress and recommendations with clarity and conviction. Lead and develop the Product Led Growth analyst, setting a high bar for analytical quality, commercial impact and effective partnership with cross‑functional teams. What success looks like: A clear, prioritised Product Led Growth plan that delivers measurable progress against NSGMV, share of NSGMV and efficiency targets. An aligned Pricing & Discounting strategy with defined principles, priority opportunities and a sequenced roadmap covering both tutor and learner dynamics. High‑potential Pricing & Discounting opportunities validated through robust business cases, proofs of concept or MVPs, creating confidence in where Preply should invest next. Demonstrable progress towards improving total lifetime value, margin and LTV to CAC efficiency through better pricing, discount and incentive decisions. Strong confidence and alignment across Growth, Product, Finance, Data and senior leadership, supported by concise communication and transparent trade‑offs. A high‑performing analyst with clear ownership, strong development and increasing impact on business and product decisions. What you need to succeed: 8 or more years of relevant experience in growth strategy, commercial strategy, pricing, monetisation, business operations or a related role within a product‑led technology business. Evidence of owning meaningful commercial KPIs for a growth area, business unit, channel or product, and of translating strategy into measurable business impact. Strong commercial judgement and a solid understanding of lifetime value, margin, unit economics and the trade‑offs involved in growing a two‑sided marketplace. Excellent strategic and critical thinking, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, make clear choices and move effectively from analysis to execution. Experience working directly with Product, Engineering, Data and Finance teams to shape roadmaps, design experiments and deliver complex cross‑functional initiatives. Strong analytical fluency and the ability to interrogate complex data, evaluate experiments and distinguish meaningful signals from noise. Hands‑on SQL experience is helpful but not required. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to build alignment and communicate concise recommendations to senior leaders. Experience leading, coaching or developing analytical talent, with the ability to create clarity and raise the quality of a team’s work. Practical fluency with AI tools, with evidence of using them to improve analysis, research, decision‑making or operational workflows. Experience that would be valuable: Direct experience in pricing, monetisation, promotions, discounts, incentives or marketplace economics. Experience in a consumer marketplace, subscription business, travel, e‑commerce or another scaled digital product with complex pricing and lifetime value dynamics. A background that combines structured strategy or consulting experience with hands‑on operating ownership.
