We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT Product Owner / Business Analyst to guide our business analysis practice, ensure robust application alignment, and champion critical change management initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned computer engineering professional who has evolved into a business analysis and/or product ownership role, bringing a profound understanding of the software development lifecycle and a hands-on technical background. You will lead a dedicated team, steer the direction of multiple corporate applications (both vendor-driven and in-house), and act as a pivotal link between business needs and technical solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor the business analysis practice, guiding direct reports in advanced techniques for requirements gathering, process mapping, discussion facilitation, and comprehensive solution design, including technical documentation (e.g., BPMN, UML)., • Drive the full lifecycle of software development or acquisition for corporate applications, ensuring best practices are applied from ideation and requirements definition through deployment and post-implementation support., • Facilitate key discussions and decision-making processes between diverse business units and technical teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable IT solutions., • Oversee the assessment and integration of vendor solutions, providing expert input during RFP/RFI processes to ensure functional suitability, architectural alignment, and seamless integration with existing systems., • Champion user adoption by planning and coordinating comprehensive change management strategies for IT projects and products, including communication, stakeholder engagement, and training., • Maintain a strategic view of the corporate application landscape, ensuring continuous alignment with business objectives and identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation., • Collaborate closely with the IT leadership team (including IT Architects, managers, and the CTO) to define and evolve the strategic IT roadmap, researching and piloting emerging technologies. Qualifications • Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a closely related IT field., • Business Analysis & Product Ownership: 4 years of relevant experience in a business analyst and/or product owner role, with a strong ability to gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements to produce precise specifications., • Technical Foundation: 3 years of experience in software (or data) engineering, including past coding experience, and a solid understanding of programming concepts, database structures, and technical analysis of data flows and application interfaces., • Project & Lifecycle Methodologies: Good grasp of key concepts across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies (e.g., PMP), IT Service Management (ITIL), and Agile principles (e.g., Scrum)., • Leadership Aptitude: A senior profile with a clear desire and capability to lead a team and steer complex corporate applications., • Communication & Facilitation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills in teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation., • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)., • Global Perspective (Preferred): Experience working on international projects is highly valued., • Certifications (Nice to have): Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Prosci.
