    Como Jefe/a de eventos , organizarás y coordinarás los eventos en el hotel, incluyendo el presupuesto, la facturación y la gestión de los pedidos de servicios. Será responsable de la experiencia de los clientes, desde la planificación del evento hasta la gestión de las necesidades de los clientes durante las reuniones y el seguimiento posterior al evento. ¿Qué tendrás que hacer? • Gestionar las reservas y los eventos confirmados por la Oficina de Ventas Global y trabajar en conjunto antes de la cotización y durante la elaboración del contrato si fuera necesario o la oficina de ventas nos lo solicitara, • Responder a todas las solicitudes de acuerdo con los SLA (Service Level Agreement)., • Elaborar el presupuesto para la celebración de eventos en el hotel., • Recibir las peticiones de los clientes a través de visitas, agencias o solicitudes del Departamento de Grupos o Ejecutivos de Cuentas de MH E&A., • Negociar con los clientes los presupuestos relacionados con la organización de eventos, servicios del hotel, etc., • Organizar visitas comerciales/visitas in situ a clientes actuales y potenciales del hotel con el fin de establecer contactos regulares y presentarles los diferentes servicios., • Organizar eventos y actos especiales solicitados por los clientes, coordinando los diferentes departamentos del hotel implicados (cursos de formación, presentaciones, ruedas de prensa, entrevistas, etc.)., • Supervisar los salones e instalaciones instaladas para la celebración de eventos., • Controlar la facturación de los eventos organizados en el hotel durante el evento, facturando al finalizar del evento utilizando las herramientas que la compañía pone a disposición., • Respetar las condiciones de los contratos firmados por los clientes cumpliendo con todas las políticas de pagos y de cancelación., • Resolver las incidencias de los ingresos de los clientes, contactando con ellos y con el Departamento de Administración de la empresa., • Definir con el Director del Hotel, los precios de las salas de reuniones y salones del hotel, en función de su demanda y niveles de ocupación, fechas disponibles, etc., • Presentar clientes potenciales al Director de Hotel / Director Comercial., • En su caso, esta función también implicará la gestión y el entrenamiento activo de los miembros del equipo de Reuniones y Eventos asignados., • Recibir y despedir a los clientes que organizan eventos en el hotel en la medida de lo posible, • Gestionar los horarios y tareas a desempeñar del departamento. ¿Qué buscamos? • Al menos 2-3 años como jefe/a de eventos en un hotel de similares características., • Licenciatura o diplomatura en Dirección Hotelera o equivalente., • Imprescindible dominio del idioma local y nivel alto de inglés., • Conocimiento práctico de varios programas informáticos (Microsoft Office, TPV, etc.) y sistemas de Front Office., • Conocimiento de los principios de gestión de ingresos y políticas comerciales., • Conciencia comercial., • Excelentes dotes de comunicación., • Orientación al servicio al cliente., • Habilidades y técnicas de venta., • Excelentes dotes de gestión y organización., • Capacidad para trabajar por cuenta propia y en equipo. ¿Por qué elegirnos? Publicidad y análisis • Configurar y gestionar campañas de pago, • Analizar métricas clave como alcance, engagement o crecimiento y proponer mejoras basadas en los resultados. Observación de mercado • Seguir tendencias digitales, observar a la competencia y aportar nuevas ideas y formatos creativos.     What's the job?     The Director of Sales is a key member of the Executive Committee and is responsible for defining, leading and executing the commercial strategy of Grand Hotel Central, a 5-star classic luxury property in the heart of Barcelona. The role encompasses Sales (Leisure, Corporate, Groups & Events), Reservations and Revenue Management, ensuring total alignment between commercial objectives, brand positioning and profitability. The Director of Sales leads, coaches and develops the Sales, Reservations and Revenue teams, driving performance while maintaining the highest luxury service standards. This position plays a critical role in maximizing total hotel revenue, strengthening the hotel’s positioning within the luxury segment, increasing direct business contribution and ensuring sustainable long-term growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Commercial & Strategic Leadership • Define and implement the overall Sales and Revenue strategy in line with hotel objectives, brand standards and market conditions., • Lead the annual budgeting process, including rooms, F&B, MICE and ancillary revenues, with full ownership of forecasting and commercial KPIs., • Actively monitor market trends, demand patterns, competitor set and distribution landscape to proactively adapt strategies., • Oversee and drive all Sales activities across Leisure, Corporate, MICE and Events segments, ensuring achievement of budgeted revenues., • Lead the proactive and reactive sales strategies, including key account management, prospecting, contracting and conversion., • Maintain and develop relationships with luxury consortia, key travel partners, DMCs, corporate clients and event agencies., • Support and guide the team in negotiations of high-value contracts, groups and events., • Oversee the Revenue Management strategy, ensuring optimal pricing, inventory control and channel mix., • Work closely with the Revenue Manager and Reservations Manager to maximize RevPAR, ADR and GOP., • Supervise distribution strategies across all channels (direct, OTA, consortia, wholesalers) ensuring rate parity and content accuracy., • Provide strategic oversight of the Reservations Department, ensuring efficient processes, high conversion rates and luxury service standards., • Ensure reservations systems, rate codes, packages and upselling strategies are correctly implemented and optimized., • Support the development of training programs to align Reservations and Front Office teams with commercial objectives., • Team Leadership & Development, • Lead, inspire and develop the Sales, Reservations and Revenue teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence., • Set clear objectives, monitor performance and support professional growth through coaching and training., • Actively participate in Executive Committee meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the hotel., • Participate in Duty Manager rotations when required.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Supporting Developing and Executing Sales Strategies • Directs the property’s Travel Industry Sales function verifying that client expectations and production goals are met., • Works with sales leader to promote understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the segment., • Works with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment led by the Director of Sales (DOS)., • Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external., • Actively participate where necessary on all special projects/events such as Site Inspections, Familiarization (FAM) trips., • Plans and participates in Sales trips and industry related meetings., • Participates in departmental sales meetings, relevant operational meetings and pre-cons. Analyzing and Reporting on Sales and Financial Data • Analyzes market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial room and catering goals., • Assists Revenue Management with completing financial projections., • Reviews sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement., • Develops and executes the annual Sales plan for the assigned market for all direct reports.
