Job Role: Head of Finance & FP&A Reporting to: General Manager/CEO Location: Barcelona (Hybrid work, 2 days office and 3 days remote) About Us: Your New Self (YNS) is a B2B2C marketplace in the eHealth industry. Created 15 years ago, it is a profitable company in a transformation stage, working on a new strategy to multiply x 3 the sales in the next 5 years. YNS operates in 11 markets in Europe and LATAM, and has the headquarters in Barcelona. In 2021, the American Company RealSelf, bought YNS within their geographical expansion plan. RealSelf has its headquarters in NY and operates in the US, Canada, Australia and UK with the same business model as YNS. As a group, we are the leader marketplace in the plastic surgery and aesthetics industry. And our mission is to empower people to make confident decisions about aesthetic treatments. Our customers are the cliniques and doctors, and our consumers are their potential patients. We are transforming the Company, going from a SEO oriented marketplace to a social media and user centric one. We are currently working on passionate projects on Product&Tech, MKT, Sales & Operations, to grow sales x3 in 5 years in a scalable and profitable way. What are we looking for: We are a talented team leading the content in the aesthetics industry (that grows a 200% triennial). With very experienced C-Level leadership (CEO/GM and COO), we’re looking for a Head of Finance with strong Financial knowledge to lead our financial strategy and support legal structuring. A person with ambition to grow and capable to lead the financials. With a strategic mindset, analytical skills and with leadership capabilities. You’ll take full ownership of the finance department, redesign and improve internal processes, ensure compliance with accounting and tax obligations, and support data-driven decision-making across the company. This role blends strategic leadership with operational execution and requires someone comfortable in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. 🧩 Key Responsibilities 🔹 Finance Leadership & Strategy • Lead, structure, and grow the finance team., • Act as a financial business partner to the CEO and leadership team., • Own short- and long-term financial planning, including annual budgets, forecasts, and scenario modeling., • Define and monitor key financial KPIs and support strategic business decisions. 🔹 Process & Control Optimization • Design and implement scalable finance and administrative processes., • Improve workflows across payables, receivables, procurement, payroll, and treasury., • Define and maintain internal controls and risk management procedures. 🔹 Reporting & FP&A • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages., • Drive the FP&A function to provide accurate, actionable insights., • Develop dashboards and reports to track company performance against KPIs. 🔹 Accounting & Compliance • Coordinate with external accountants and advisors for accurate bookkeeping, tax filings, and audit preparation., • Review and validate financial statements, tax declarations, and compliance documentation., • Ensure timely and accurate closing of books. 🔹 Non-Dilutive Financing Strategy • Lead efforts to explore and secure non-dilutive financing options, including banking relationships, government grants, venture debt, revenue-based financing, and other alternative capital sources., • Prepare financial materials, projections, and analysis to support credit applications and funding evaluations., • Manage relationships with lenders, institutions, and public/private programs focused on innovation and growth financing. ✅ Requirements • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a Financial Audit Company and/or and/or in startups, scaleups, or high-growth environments., • Strong background in FP&A, financial reporting, and accounting., • Proven experience in managing or setting up finance operations., • Knowledge of local tax and accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.)., • Experience with Sage or similar ERP/accounting platforms is highly valued., • Prior experience handling intercompany transactions is a strong plus., • English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required., • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools is a plus., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Comfortable working in ambiguity with a builder’s mindset., • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
