We're actively seeking an experienced DevOps/Enablement Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Mobile Solutions team, working closely with R&D, Delivery and Operations teams to identify repetitive tasks and design and develop automation tools to facilitate task execution. ¿What would be your mission within this role? As a DevOps/Enablement Engineer , you will contribute to the design and implementation of automation solutions that enhance platform efficiency, reliability, and scalability. You will work in a highly collaborative environment, driving DevOps practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the continuous improvement of our platforms. Main Responsibilities: • Automation Engineering: Identify automation opportunities by analyzing processes and business needs, and design and develop tools to optimize manual and time-consuming tasks., • CI/CD & DevOps Practices: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and promote DevOps best practices across teams., • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Site Reliability, DevOps, Operations, and Delivery teams to improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability., • System Architecture & New Features: Support the implementation and validation of new features in pre-production environments, and design automation solutions aligned with new functionalities., • Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize pipelines, and define service metrics to ensure reliability and efficiency., • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to support continuous learning across teams. If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following: • Bachelor’s degree in Computational Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar, • +3 years of experience in DevOps, Automation, or Cloud Engineering roles (preferably within telecom environments), • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EKS, RDS, Aurora, etc.), • Strong experience in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash), • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS), • Good written and spoken English to communicate with our global teams, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Results-oriented mindset, • Strong technical skills, • Problem-solving mindset, • Ability to work and collaborate with different teams, • Proactive and self-driven learner, eager to stay updated with new cloud technologies The below experience and knowledge will be a Plus: • AWS certification, • Experience with eSIM / telecom platforms, • Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks What do we offer? • We are a global company with a great international team of people who are always willing to help each other out., • We offer a competitive salary aligned with experience., • Hybrid work model, partially from home, partially from our office in Madrid., • We care about your well-being.
