As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection and contributing to an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a designated kitchen section (e.g., larder, hot section, pastry), ensuring smooth operations.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with Giannino's recipes and standards.
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to culinary specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in line with food safety regulations.
- Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive environment.
- Manage stock control and inventory for your section, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably with Italian cuisine experience.
- A strong understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
- Passion for high-quality ingredients and authentic flavours.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Up-to-date food hygiene certification.
- Right to work in the UK.
