Chef De Partie
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Santo Remedio.
Chef de Partie duties include running a section, assisting in ordering and training of new team members. You should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you.
This position is ideal for a demi chef looking to transition to a more senior role.
Study recipes to ensure constancy during service.
Prep for allocated section on shift.
Communicate any dish shortages to running chef on duty.
Ensure consistent dish presentation.
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Proven work experiences as a demi chef or CDP.
Hands-on experience with fast service style.
Knowledge in Mexican cuisine is preferred
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
Excellent time management abilities
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
Familiarity with sanitation regulations
Culinary school diploma preferred
