Following the acquisition of several new brands, the business is entering an exciting new phase of expansion and is now looking for a high energy, people focused Inside Sales Manager to lead and inspire their growing internal sales and customer service team. This is a financially secure, fast growing business with ambitious plans for the future, combining organic growth and strategic acquisitions to strengthen its position in the market. As Inside Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in the commercial team, working closely with the owners and leadership group to shape customer strategy, optimise performance, and drive sustainable growth. We’re looking for a motivational team leader who can combine hands-on commercial experience with a passion for coaching and developing people. You’ll lead from the front, demonstrating best-in-class sales techniques while empowering your team to deliver exceptional service and hit ambitious targets. You’ll work with a diverse customer base, many of whom are independent retailers growing their own small businesses, so the ability to build genuine, long-term relationships and truly understand customer challenges is key. By supporting your team to strengthen those relationships, you’ll directly influence sales performance and customer satisfaction. The Role • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of internal sales and customer service representatives, fostering a high performance culture., • Set clear KPIs and sales targets, track performance, and provide actionable feedback to drive individual and team success., • Recruit, train, and mentor team members, ensuring continuous professional development and engagement., • Oversee sales administration, including CRM accuracy, pipeline management, and reporting on key metrics., • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service., • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product development to align sales strategies with broader business goals., • Contribute to product strategy and development, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in internal or telesales management, ideally within FMCG or pet related products., • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing high performing teams., • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance people management and hands on selling., • Confident communicator who builds trust and rapport quickly., • Data-driven and organised, with strong CRM and reporting experience., • Entrepreneurial spirit, excited by growth, change, and the chance to shape something new.
