About the Role Travelodge London Covent Garden is looking for hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Housekeepers to join our busy Housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper, you will play an important part in making sure our guests arrive to a clean, comfortable and welcoming room. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and are able to work efficiently as part of a team. Key Responsibilities • Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to the required hotel standards., • Making beds and changing bed linen., • Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, showers, baths, sinks, mirrors and surrounding areas., • Vacuuming, dusting and wiping all required surfaces., • Emptying bins and removing rubbish from bedrooms., • Replenishing towels, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and other guest supplies., • Checking rooms carefully after cleaning to ensure nothing has been missed., • Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or lost property to a Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager., • Keeping housekeeping trolleys, equipment and storage areas clean, organised and fully stocked., • Following all health and safety, COSHH and hotel procedures., • Working efficiently to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready within the required timeframes., • Supporting colleagues and supervisors to ensure the department operates effectively, particularly on busy days. What We're Looking For You will be someone who: • Has a positive attitude and takes pride in delivering high standards., • Has excellent attention to detail., • Is reliable, punctual and able to manage their workload effectively., • Is comfortable working in a physically active role., • Can work independently while also being a strong team player., • Is able to follow instructions and respond positively to feedback., • Understands the importance of guest privacy, security and confidentiality., • Is flexible and able to work weekends and bank holidays when required. Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
