Travel and expenses for this will be covered, but please speak to the team for further information.About the roleAs a Team Technician at our Beckton manufacturing site, you'll help produce and package iconic brands including Pepsi, 7UP, Tango and R White's. Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you'll operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring safety, quality and performance standards are achieved while driving continuous improvement.Key responsibilitiesOperate, monitor and maintain production equipment to deliver safety, quality and performance targets.Take ownership of health and safety, quality standards and housekeeping within your area.Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root cause problem solving.Drive asset care, equipment reliability and continuous improvement activities.Support and develop colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and best practice.Contribute to projects that improve plant performance, efficiency and ways of working.Skills and experienceExperience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is desirable.Good understanding of health, safety and quality standards.Comfortable using computer systems and interpreting technical information.Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.Knowledge of HACCP, ISO and COSHH standards would be advantageous.GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or the ability to understand technical processes and documentation.Our commitment to diversity equity & inclusionWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
