Vacancy Summary\n\nJob Title: Associate Project Manager\n\nJob Type: Permanent\n\nJob Ref: #1391\n\nLocation: East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire Projects + Flexible working)\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nSalary: c£70k-£75k plus competitive package inc car allowance, pension, bonus etc. \n\nCompany & Project: A profitable and successful consultancy are looking for a client focused Associate level Project Manager to join their team working on projects across the Commercial, Infrastructure and Healthcare sectors. \n\nThe position involves working on a large Infrastructure scheme in East Anglia and future Commercial projects. \n\nOur client has a busy project pipeline for 2026/2027 and they are recruiting for an Associate level Project Manager due to growth of their regional business and the progression of a key project win with a major client in East Anglia. \n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nDirect and coordinate all project activities.\n\nAct as the primary interface for clients and consultants, proactively anticipating their needs to consistently deliver high-value outcomes.\n\nEnforce rigorous standards in Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management to ensure projects meet all regulatory and safety benchmarks.\n\nEstablish clear parameters for project success, specifically defining the time, cost, technical specifications, and performance KPIs from the outset.\n\nDevelop comprehensive, detailed project plans and establish the specific governance systems and processes required to execute the work efficiently.\n\nIdentify necessary project resources and provide expert advice on procurement strategies to ensure the project is adequately staffed and supplied.\n\nLead and motivate diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, facilitating collaboration and using performance management techniques to keep productivity high.\n\nMonitor project finances and manage the formal change control process to mitigate scope creep and protect the project's commercial viability.\n\nManage the transparent flow of data between the internal team and the client through regular briefings, formal progress reports, and structured meetings.\n\nDesirable Experience\n\n- Minimum 10 years+ experience as a Project Manager for a Consultancy or End-client.\n- Excellent client facing skills with a track record of stakeholder management. \n- Contract administration using NEC and JCT would be highly advantageous. \n- Degree or MSc qualified in a construction related discipline. \n- MAPM or MRICS or MCIOB is desirable, but not essential. \n- Previous Roles: Associate Project Manager OR Senior Project Manager OR Principal Project Manager OR Project Manager OR Director of Project Management OR Project Director. \n\nQualifications & Skills: Degree or MSc qualified in a construction related discipline or comparable qualification. \nMAPM or MRICS or MCIOB or another comparable professional membership would be advantageous. \n\nApplication Process: If you would like more information on this Associate Project Manager position or any other vacancy please email your current CV through to Jess Quinn; where it will be reviewed and you will be contacted within 48 hours if your CV is of interest.\n\nServices advertised by Apple Technical Recruitment are that of an Employment Agency/Business
