What's in it for you as Maintenance Electrician • Salary: £48,000 per annum with premium overtime also available to enhance earnings, • Location - Loughborough, • Benefits: company pension contribution, cycle-to-work scheme, shopping discounts, and more, • Hours: 42-hr week, • Monday to Thursday 6am - 3pm, Friday 6am - 4pm, • Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 9am - 5pm, • Training: Continued training and engineering development, • Job Security: Grow within a market leader offering long-term career progression Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician • Responsible for plant wide proactive and reactive Electrical Maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory., • Covering planned and reactive maintenance activities across manufacturing lines, • Help to drive plant improvements and increased efficiencies, • Identify and resolve recurring plant issues through engineering improvements (RCA), • Carry out work upon all electrical elements such as motors, invertors, safety circuits, performing basic fault finding on PLC's etc. Extensive training will also be provided on Siemens PLC S7 TIA portal systems along with further upskilling opportunities., • Enhance plant reliability with best practices using CMMS Required Experience & Qualifications needed as a Maintenance Electrician • You will need to hold the following Electrical Vocational and Technical qualifications to be considered: City and Guilds Level 3 AND BTEC Level 3 or higher with NVQ Level 3, OR be Apprentice trained to level 3 or equivalent., • Strong planned and reactive electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Introduction Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Volkswagen in Loughborough. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm 40 hour week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1pm (averages out at 41.5 hours per week). Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading and are reflective of each applicant's experience and skillset. The basic salaries start from £32,000 up to £45,000. Bonus / OTEs range from £37,000 up to £48,000. OTE Hourly rates range from £17.15 up to £22.24. Role and Responsibilities Our technicians are responsible for the servicing, repair and diagnostics of all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard first time. The main responsibilities would include electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts and air conditioning servicing. Additional responsibilities may include repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles such as the use of electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on areas such as batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack & control systems. You will have the ability to fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment. You will have a full understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business. You will be trained and able to operate additional systems, such as video reporting i.e CitNOW. You also will be able to complete all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards. Working closely with other members of the workshop team to constantly learn and share knowledge. About you We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the Automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester or Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join Listers. Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you. As a minimum you will hold or working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. MOT License would also be beneficial but not essential. Full UK Driving licence.
