Supply Chain Specialist Coventry | Hybrid (2 days WFH) | £30,000 – £37,000 This is a key Supply Chain Specialist role responsible for inbound supply, inventory control, and demand planning support across a diverse product portfolio. Reporting into the Inventory Manager, and aligned with the wider UK supply chain leadership team, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring strong stock availability, accurate inventory control, and resilient supply planning to support ongoing business growth. The role combines data analysis, coordination, and operational ownership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working at the heart of supply chain activity. What the Role Is About You will sit between purchasing, demand planning and inventory management, ensuring the right stock is ordered, tracked, and controlled. Your focus will be on: • Maintaining accurate inventory and demand data, • Managing stock levels and product expiry risk, • Supporting planning and supply decisions with clear reporting and analysis, • Ensuring inventory systems and logistics data remain aligned Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Order Management • Raise and manage purchase orders in line with agreed demand and replenishment plans, • Track open orders, confirmations, and delivery dates, • Follow up on delays, changes, and supply risks, • Maintain purchasing trackers and supporting documentation Demand Planning Support • Support demand planning by maintaining forecasts, assumptions, and planning files, • Prepare data for demand and supply reviews, • Track forecast vs actual consumption and highlight risks or variances, • Support short-term supply planning and issue identification Inventory Management & Analysis • Monitor stock levels and flag risks relating to low stock, excess, or expiry, • Maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and trackers, • Support stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and data accuracy checks, • Identify opportunities to improve stock efficiency and reduce write-offs What We’re Looking For • Experience in a inventory, or planning role, • Background in a regulated or process-driven environment, • Strong Excel skills (Power BI exposure or interest is a plus), • Able to work effectively in a hybrid / partially remote role The Package • £33,000 – £37,000 salary, • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, • 35-hour working week, • Early finish every Friday (3pm), • Statutory pension, • Death in Service cover
