Macgregor Black are partnering with a well-established gifting brand on the search for a Senior Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Leeds. As the Senior National Account Manager, you will lead one of the UK’s most significant and high-profile high street retail partnerships. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure role managing a flagship account undergoing rapid growth and transformation, offering the opportunity to make a visible commercial impact at scale. You will act as the strategic and operational lead, delivering a full end-to-end category management service while building strong, influential relationships across a complex customer organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Own the day-to-day delivery of the account business plan, including sales, profitability, and cost management, • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to both customer and internal growth objectives, • Support the delivery of long-term strategic plans and contractual commitments, • Identify and unlock new business opportunities across adjacent categories, • Market insights and performance analysis, • Strategy creation and execution, • Own brand product development, • Store-level ranging and optimisation, • Build and manage strong relationships with the lead retail buyer for the core store estate, • Act as a trusted partner and “go-to” contact across multiple commercial teams, channels, and categories, • Line manage and develop Account Managers across additional channels (e.g. franchise, outlet, international, e-commerce) What We're Looking For: • Has significant account management experience with large, demanding retail customers., • Brings a strong track record in category management and commercial delivery., • Has experience within seasonal or fast-changing product categories., • Is confident operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment., • Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills., • Has proven leadership experience, including line management., • Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
