This role plays a crucial part in preparing precision components for painting and surface finishing — ensuring every part meets the highest quality standards for aerospace applications.\n\nImportant – Please Read Before Applying\n\nAll applicants must have a consistent recent 5-year work history, as BPSS security clearance is required for this role. If you cannot wait this long to start, please do not apply.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, respected aerospace manufacturer offering secure employment, paid overtime, and fantastic development prospects.\n\nPaint Prepper Responsibilities\n\n * Prepare components for painting, including masking, unmasking, cleaning, and surface preparation.\n\n * Carry out abrasive cleaning, shot blasting, and vibration deburring as required.\n\n * Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to confirm correct specifications.\n\n * Inspect surfaces for defects before and after paint application.\n\n * Operate finishing and blasting equipment safely and maintain tools in good working condition.\n\n * Ensure the workspace remains clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.\n\nPaint Prepper Profile\n\n * Previous experience as a Paint Prepper, Finisher, or similar role within aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing.\n\n * Confident reading and following engineering drawings and specifications.\n\n * Skilled in using hand tools and basic measuring instruments.\n\n * Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and pride in workmanship.\n\n * Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH standards relating to paints, solvents, and chemicals.\n\nApply Now for more information!\n\nINDMA
