The school is seeking a passionate and committed KS1 Teacher to join their team from September. Job Description As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, supporting pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development. You will play a key role in creating a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. You will work closely with colleagues across the school to plan and deliver a creative and inclusive curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum, • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively, • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment, • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, • Support pupils’ personal development, wellbeing, and behaviour, • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers, • Contribute to wider school life, events, and enrichment activities Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs encouraged to apply), • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, • Excellent classroom management skills, • Passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons, • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, • Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits • Competitive salary: £32,916 – £45,352 per annum, • Supportive and welcoming school community, • Excellent professional development opportunities, • Strong leadership team with a clear vision, • Well-resourced classrooms and learning environment, • Opportunities for career progression within the school
