As a result, they are looking for a capable Senior Administrator who can take ownership of cases, support more complex assignments, and become a key part of the team as the practice continues to expand. This role would suit someone who enjoys technical case work but also wants to be involved in a more commercial, forward-thinking environment where they can work closely with experienced Managers, Senior Managers, and Insolvency Practitioners. The Role You will be responsible for progressing a varied caseload of corporate insolvency assignments, with a particular focus on delivering work to a high technical standard while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: • Handling a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, and other formal insolvency appointments, • Taking responsibility for case progression from appointment through to closure, • Preparing reports, statutory documentation, creditor correspondence, and case updates, • Liaising with directors, creditors, employees, HMRC, agents, solicitors, and other professional advisers, • Assisting with investigations, asset realisations, creditor claims, and distributions, • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements, • Supporting junior administrators and helping them develop their technical knowledge, • Working with senior colleagues on more complex restructuring and insolvency matters Why This Role Stands Out This is not just a standard case administration role. The Person The ideal candidate will have: • Experience working in corporate insolvency, • A good working knowledge of CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, or similar insolvency procedures, • The ability to manage a varied caseload and work to deadlines, • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy, • Confidence dealing with directors, creditors, and professional contacts, • A proactive attitude and willingness to support junior team members, • CPI, ACA, ACCA, or JIEB study interest would be useful, but is not essential This could be a great move for an Insolvency Administrator ready to step up, or an existing Senior Administrator who wants to join a more ambitious Manchester practice with better progression.
