My client is one of the world's leading alternative investment managers. Their Operations team plays a critical role in supporting the investment process through the accurate and timely management of post-trade lifecycle events. Role Overview My client are seeking an experienced Corporate Actions Associate / Senior Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions across global markets, ensuring accurate processing, election management, reconciliation, and risk mitigation. This role requires close interaction with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, prime brokers, broker-dealers, fund administrators, and internal operations teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong product knowledge across equities and fixed income securities, exceptional attention to detail, and extensive experience utilizing market data platforms such as Bloomberg and S&P Global Market Intelligence. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee all mandatory and voluntary corporate action events across global markets, including:, • Mergers & acquisitions, • Tender offers, • Rights issues, • Exchange offers, • Spin-offs, • Stock splits, • Cash and stock dividends, • Redemptions and restructurings, • Monitor corporate action announcements through Bloomberg, S&P Global Market Intelligence, custodians, and broker-dealer notifications., • Analyze event terms and identify portfolio impacts, operational risks, and election requirements., • Coordinate and communicate election decisions with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, prime brokers, broker-dealers, and fund administrators., • Validate and reconcile corporate action entitlements, positions, elections, and cash/securities settlements., • Investigate and resolve discrepancies with counterparties, custodians, and external service providers., • Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate action events within established deadlines., • Conduct daily control and reconciliation processes to mitigate operational risk., • Partner with technology teams to enhance automation and improve corporate actions workflows., • Develop and maintain procedures, controls, and governance documentation., • Support regulatory, audit, compliance, and client reporting requirements as needed. Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline., • 5-10 years of corporate actions experience gained within a:, • Hedge fund, • Asset manager, • Investment bank, • Prime broker, • Fund administrator, • Broker-dealer environment, • Strong understanding of global mandatory and voluntary corporate action events., • Experience supporting hedge funds and institutional investment products., • Extensive interaction with broker-dealers, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators., • Advanced knowledge of:, • Bloomberg Terminal, • S&P Global Market Intelligence, • Corporate action processing platforms and workflows, • Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, ETFs, ADRs, and complex investment products., • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred • Experience within a multi-strategy hedge fund environment., • Familiarity with securities financing, prime brokerage, or middle office operations., • Knowledge of global market practices and regulatory requirements., • Experience with automation initiatives and data analysis tools (SQL, Alteryx, Python, Power BI, or similar).
