Location: Uxbridge, UK (Hybrid) Reporting to: General Manager Finance EMEA (UK Office) Direct Reports: Finance & Tax team members Strategic Financial Leadership Across EMEA We are seeking a high-calibre Finance & Tax Senior Manager EMEA to lead financial compliance, tax governance and reporting excellence across multiple European entities. Reporting directly to the General Manager Finance EMEA, this role combines technical authority, operational leadership and people management. The successful candidate will oversee a small but critical team, ensuring delivery of robust compliance, timely reporting and scalable processes that support the regions commercial growth. This is a pivotal leadership position at the centre of EMEA finance operations. Why This Role Is Business-Critical Safeguards regulatory and tax compliance across multiple EU jurisdictions Owns statutory reporting integrity and audit readiness Leads month-end and year-end close processes across EMEA entities Strengthens ecommerce financial governance (Amazon, eBay, SAP) Drives automation and systems enhancement to improve efficiency Develops and manages a high-performing finance team Core Leadership Responsibilities of the Senior Tax & Finance Manager 1 EMEA Tax & Regulatory Oversight Full ownership of UK VAT and EU VAT reporting cycles Oversight of Italy VAT, Intrastat and EU cross-border consignment reporting Coordination of German tax compliance (corporation tax, Bundesbank, audit support) Management of corporation tax returns and statutory reporting frameworks Ensuring evolving EU cross-border tax requirements are proactively addressed 2 Financial Reporting & Governance Lead month-end and year-end close across multiple EMEA entities Preparation and review of annual statutory accounts Oversight of IFRS 16 lease accounting Branch accounting for current EU branches and upcoming new entities Lead internal and external audit coordination 3 Digital & Platform Finance Integration Ownership of financial data integrity across Amazon, eBay and SAP Supervision of SAP tax code configuration and banking structures Development of scalable ecommerce reporting models Creation of ad-hoc management and compliance reporting 4 Team Leadership & Development Direct management and development of finance staff Allocation and review of recurring compliance cycles Building capability in tax, reporting and systems knowledge Driving accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement culture 5 Process Transformation & Automation Champion automation initiatives across platform finance Partner with SAP and IT teams to improve systems capability Reduce manual processes and enhance financial controls Profile of the Senior Tax and Finance Manager: Extensive EMEA tax compliance experience (UK, Italy, Germany essential) Proven ability to prepare full statutory accounts independently SAP ByD knowledge or some experience of SAP products Advanced Excel capability with large datasets Experience in ecommerce/platform-based financial reporting Experience managing and developing finance staff Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, IT, Sales and Marketing Ability to operate autonomously within a multi-entity environment Continuous improvement and automation mindset Desirable Multinational B2B technology environment experience Exposure to finance transformation projects The Opportunity This role offers: Leadership responsibility within the EMEA finance structure Direct reporting line to the General Manager Finance EMEA Ownership of a complex multi-country compliance environment Influence over systems, automation and operational efficiency High visibility and strategic contribution to regional growth Base salary £90K with 6mnthly up to 25% bonus, £650pm car allowance, 3 days hybrid role, Lunch, breakfast, parking, 25 days hol, pension, healthcare etc, with Flexi hours 35 hr/wk TPBN1_UKTJ
