Senior Counsel, Family Office & Corporate/Commercial Lead Lawyer The Opportunity Our client is a newly formed family office which is looking to appoint its first lawyer. You will be part of a small and trusted team, brought together to protect assets, structure investments, handle succession planning, navigate complex tax issues, make charitable contributions and anything else which may be required. You will also ensure risk is managed as well as compliance with any governance requirements. In addition, you will also be Head of Legal, Corporate for the main business for approximately half the time. This part of the role will involve leading on corporate and compliance matters for the main business, ensuring a robust compliance function and managing risk. You will advise on investment decisions and support on company secretarial, governance and data privacy matters. About You The role will be broad and will suit an individual who is highly organised, who can look at what needs to be done and make decisions accordingly. Project: 300MW BESS integrated with 2.6GW Offshore Wind Farm via HVDC Location: Primarily remote (UK-based preferred), with travel to Norwich and London Role Overview We are seeking a specialist engineer to support the BESS Technical Lead with the integration of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a major offshore wind farm connected via HVDC. This is a technically challenging and high-profile role focused on ensuring robust integration between the BESS, HVDC system, offshore wind plant, control systems, trading and optimisation platforms, and operational stakeholders. The role has a particular emphasis on the BESS interfaces and requires an engineer who can provide input into the development of the operating philosophy, control philosophy, and interface design across multiple systems and parties. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the integrated system is operable, reliable, commercially optimised, and validated through practical testing that the BESS is grid code compliant. Key Responsibilities 1. BESS–HVDC–Offshore Wind Integration • Support the design and coordination of the control interfaces between the BESS and HVDC system across a range of operating scenarios., • Define and manage key integration interfaces between the BESS, offshore wind farm, HVDC controls, plant controllers, and other relevant OEM systems., • Support the BESS Technical Lead to provide input into the development of the overall integrated operating and control philosophy for the BESS, HVDC system, and offshore wind plant., • Support the BESS Technical Lead working closely with OEMs and project stakeholders to ensure the integrated solution is correctly designed, built, tested, and commissioned. 2. Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Regulatory Policy Specialist. • Please note that this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home Key Responsibilities: The role of the Regulatory Policy Specialist is in supporting the Bank’s Pillar 2 framework, including the development, coordination, and maintenance of the ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan and Solvent Exit Analysis. The role ensures that the Bank meets evolving prudential regulatory expectations by maintaining up-to-date policies, conducting high-quality analysis, and supporting governance processes. The role also leads horizon scanning for prudential regulatory developments, ensures internal policies remain aligned to supervisory expectations, and supports the Bank’s strategic approach to capital and liquidity adequacy, risk appetite, and recovery and resolution preparedness. Key responsibilities include: Prudential Regulatory Policy & Interpretation • Monitor PRA, FCA, EBA and Basel‑related prudential policy developments and conduct structured horizon scanning., • Translate regulatory changes into actionable internal requirements and identify gaps with existing internal policies, frameworks, and processes., • Produce clear interpretation statements and support policy updates related to capital, liquidity, stress testing expectations, recovery planning and solvent exit., • Coordinate annual and ad‑hoc updates of ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan and Solvent Exit Analysis, ensuring alignment with evolving supervisory expectations., • Manage contributor inputs, version control, documentation standards and governance review cycles., • Support integration of risk assessments, business plans, scenario outputs and capital/liquidity adequacy considerations into the documents (noting that model execution and second‑line stress testing remain with the Risk function)., • Ensure the ICAAP and ILAAP reflect the Bank’s risk appetite, strategic plan and capital/liquidity management approach., • Coordinate workshops and cross‑functional discussions related to scenario design, reverse stress testing, recovery options and solvent exit strategies., • Support the quality assurance and consistency review of quantitative analysis, ensuring alignment between narrative, risk assessments and management actions., • Act as a key point of contact for prudential policy interpretation across the Bank., • Support Finance, Risk, Treasury and Business Units in understanding new regulatory obligations and implementing policy updates. Key Skills/Experience: • Strong knowledge of PRA and EBA regulatory frameworks, including CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV, and supervisory expectations for ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plans and solvent wind‑down., • Minimum 5 years’ experience in prudential regulatory policy, regulatory reporting, or risk management within a banking environment., • Experience drafting or contributing to ICAAP/ILAAP/Recovery Plan documentation is highly desirable., • Understanding of multinational banking structures and emerging risks, particularly across Nigeria and Sub‑Saharan Africa., • Demonstrable ability to draft, edit and finalise ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan documentation to a high standard., • Strong analytical abilities, including the interpretation of quantitative outputs and translation into qualitative narrative., • Proficiency in managing complex projects with multiple contributors and tight governance timelines. About the Role Capital Dynamics is seeking a highly capable Senior Private Funds Lawyer to join our Private Equity – Secondaries team. Based out of the London office, the Private Funds Specialist will support Capital Dynamics' Secondaries Investment Management Team in the fund formation, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of primary and secondary fund investments, including single-asset and portfolio transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting LP-side secondaries transactions and a solid understanding of private funds documentation and deal processes. The role holder will work alongside the Global Head of Funds Legal and Global Head of Secondaries on the establishment of any new Capital Dynamics Secondaries Funds or related separately managed accounts. Only candidates with Secondaries transactions experience on either the LP-side or GP-side can be considered for this position. Qualifications • US or UK-qualified lawyer; international experience is highly advantageous., • Minimum of 6 years' PQE (post-qualified experience), currently working in a Private Funds group at a law firm or as an in-house funds lawyer., • Extensive knowledge of Secondaries fund transactions – LP Portfolio Sales, LP-Led, GP-Led, Continuation Funds, and Preferred Equity., • Strong knowledge of private equity fund structuring, fund operations, and fund closing matters, ideally in respect of both UK and US funds; experience with Luxembourg fund structures is a plus., • Experience working in a collaborative and demanding environment., • Flexible, as you will work with colleagues across time zones from California & New York (US), London (UK), Milan (Italy), and Zug (Switzerland).
