We’re looking for a committed Project Engineer to help develop, plan and deliver our capital programme, ensuring our sites, assets and customers benefit from high-quality engineering solutions.This is a great opportunity to make a difference in a role where no two days are the same, working with operational teams, contractors and colleagues to bring projects to life.What will you be doing?Responsible for enabling activities to facilitate the delivery of planned/emergent capital projectsDevelop solutions in line with corporate governance and delivery route goalsEnsure solutions are Water and/or Wastewater quality compliantCompletion of Root Cause AnalysisComplete optioneering of solutionsComply with the corporate Risk and Value processEnsure standard products and other technical standards (e.g. minimum asset standards) are adhered toComplete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practicesProduction and support completion of CDM DocumentationWhat does it take to be a Project Engineer?Appropriate engineering qualification or membership of professional body or equivalent experienceProven technical experience within the relevant environment (Water or Wastewater)Knowledge of Health & Safety (H&S), and Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulationsExperience managing a capital budgetExperience of project planning, delivery and site supervisionRoot cause analysis to optionee suitable solutionsGood IT literacy plus it would be desirable to have experience of M2i, SAP and Power BiAs a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:Car allowanceFull Personal private health care26 days annual leave – rising with length of serviceFlexible workingCompetitive pension scheme – Anglian Water double-matches your contributions up to 6%Bonus schemeFlexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle.Closing Date: 10th March 2026#loveeverydrop!
