What You'll Do • Contribute to the promotion of the compliance function as a trusted advisor., • Support day-to-day tasks relating to compliance programs (e.g., compliance trainings roll out, setting up and preparing agendas for correspondence/meetings, drafting presentations, collaborating with other regional teams)., • Support Senior Management through the evaluation of complex clients and/or topics., • Track the local adaptation and implementation of risk mitigating measures (e.g., policies and processes)., • Consolidate risk reporting / mitigation measures., • Act as a key point of contact for local system staff across all compliance topics., • Provide advice on compliance queries or otherwise connecting staff to the most appropriate team to address their query., • Support with operational tasks related to compliance training and communication exercises., • Receive compliance related information from business stakeholders or from the Global Compliance team and collate this into timely reports., • Assist with compliance risk identification and compliance risk reporting., • Perform data validation and integrity checks on compliance datasets., • Support with bottom-up compliance risk identification exercises, including aggregating results and producing analysis and reports., • Assist project teams (as allocated by line manager) with a view to ensuring that compliance considerations are identified and recorded from inception to delivery. Advanced degree preferred, • 3-4 years’ experience in a compliance function or other risk management discipline such as audit, fraud examination, quality control, risk analysis within a financial/ banking institution, professional services, or consulting firm or international business (aerospace, transport, construction, pharmaceutical, healthcare etc.), • Preferably advanced knowledge of, Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word), Trello, exposure to business intelligence tools: Tableau, Power BI Who You'll Work With You will be part of the EMESA Regional Compliance Team reporting to the EMESA Senior Director, and you may also be working with the Asia Pacific and/or North America Regional Compliance teams. This team sits within a network of regional Compliance teams which report into the Global Head of Compliance and Chief Risk Officer. Could you be our next Highways Lighting Operative to join the team and drive this success forwards? What will I be doing in this role? As a Highways Lighting Installation Operative, you will drive a Hi-Ab and install highway lighting units, including streetlights, traffic signs, and other street furniture, ensuring safe and efficient lighting infrastructure to enhance visibility and road safety for drivers and pedestrians. Some of your role will involve: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing lamps, cleaning fixtures, and repairing damaged or malfunctioning lighting components. Respond promptly to reported lighting failures or outages and troubleshoot problems to determine the cause of the issue. Carry out repairs and replacements of electrical components, including wiring, switches, ballasts, and control systems. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to traffic flow and adhering to established safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment inventory. We are looking for you to bring your previous experience working in the electrical/construction industry, we would also love you to have: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Able to use a hand-held tablet to receive jobs and log repair reports. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all maintenance tasks. Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights, using appropriate safety equipment. The ability to use tools to dig and install streetlighting columns Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and effective interaction with stakeholders and the public. You must have a full UK driving licence.
