Are you a Parts Controller, Parts Advisor or experienced automotive professional looking for a role where keeping things organised really matters? As our Parts & Goods Controller in Brighouse, you’ll help keep our EMC operation moving by making sure the right parts are available at the right time, while balancing stock levels, cost and service. • Monitor inventory across Brighouse, Avonmouth, engineer van stocks and impressed stocks, maintaining appropriate seasonal stock levels., • Handle parts requests from the workshop and Field Service Engineers, purchasing components within agreed limits to support fleet maintenance and repairs., • Receive, allocate and securely store parts, keeping stock records and documentation accurate and up to date., • Process invoices, engineer SD sheets, returns and warranty returns accurately and within required reporting deadlines., • Support stock checks, deliveries and stock movements, while monitoring obsolete and non-moving items and arranging supplier returns where appropriate. You’ll be someone who enjoys bringing order to a busy parts operation and understands how good stock control supports engineers, workshops and ultimately our customers. Previous experience within automotive, commercial vehicles, parts or a related environment would be useful, but we’re also interested in people with relevant transferable skills and the ability to learn. • An organised approach to stock, documentation and day‑to‑day priorities., • Confidence communicating with engineers, workshop colleagues, suppliers and the wider team., • An eye for detail when checking invoices, reconciling parts and maintaining accurate records., • Familiarity with parts books, catalogues or other reference systems would be beneficial., • A constructive approach to solving queries and finding practical solutions.
