Agent\n\nLocation: Heathrow Airport\n\nHeathrow Airport\n\nFerrovial Construction has been working at Heathrow Airport for over 12 years delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects to high quality, safety and environmental standards. We have focused on design and build projects with a mix of contractual arrangements. This has enabled us to refine our management procedures in response to Heathrow’s Employers Requirements and Ferrovial Construction own internal management systems.\n\nSince joining Heathrow’s framework, Ferrovial Construction has delivered a variety of airside and landside projects across the whole airport. For example, we have delivered new taxiways and rehabilitated existing taxiways and the southern runway. We have also redeveloped sterile and grass areas and replaced critical assets, such as fire main, fuel main and HV ducts. We are currently working alongside Heathrow to rehabilitate assets with expired design life’s and plan for a future runway resurfacing project. We are constantly designing and planning our works around critical assets and engaging with different key stakeholders in order to deliver Heathrow value for money.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Site Management\n\n * Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised\n\n * Assume responsibility for delivering projects successfully\n\n * Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents\n\n * Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects\n\n * Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, management plans, in line with Company procedures\n\n * Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks\n\n * Client interface\n\n * Deliver end product to customer satisfaction\n\n * Cost control\n\n * Maximise project value\n\n * Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed\n\n * Maintain commercial tension to drive out cost and challenge the status quo\n\n * Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities\n\n * Reporting\n\n * Produce good quality, accurate reports monthly for the Client and internally\n\n * Chair weekly site meetings in line with Company procedures\n\nKey skills and experience\n\n * Successful experience at a management engineering level in construction (on site) specifically in civil engineering and/or utilities\n\n * Demonstrated application of growing commercial and contractual knowledge\n\n * Experience of working in a cost-conscious environment\n\n * Experience in client, stakeholder and subcontractor management\n\n * Relationship building with external parties is a critical requirement\n\n * Significant civil engineering technology knowledge with significant previous experience\n\n * A highly capable construction problem solver\n\n * Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at a variety of levels.\n\n * Computer literacy advance\n\n * CSCS card\n\nDesirable skills\n\n * Infrastructure / civil construction experience\n\n * Experience in stakeholder’s management (Key stakeholders apart from client)\n\n * Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or equivalent\n\nPlease note that this job description does not represent a comprehensive list of activities and employees may be requested to undertake other reasonable duties.\n\nSeize the challenge. Use data visualisation tools like Tableau to interrogate data and highlight new trends which the wider product team can use to inform their development roadmap Work with partners, other members of the commercial team and legal to ensure contracts are updated and shared with Commercial Director for signature. This will include any other activities related to updating partner contracts. Work across partners and finance to update important commercial metrics. This will also include invoice preparation. Support the Delivery Manager with onboarding new lenders and products, this includes completing checklists to ensure that you follow all necessary processes and test. Work with the Marketing team to ensure all email communications contain accurate and correct partner information. You're comfortable and feel confident to voice your opinions in a wider group.
