    We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our cafe, situated in Welwyn Garden City. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Provide attentive guest service, addressing questions and resolving issues courteously Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service and food preparation Assist with setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and restocking supplies as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and team members Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing purposes Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences We are open 6.30am - 4pm 7 days a week with the ideal candidate working 4 / 5 days per week including weekends. salary negotiable depending on experience.
