Join us in bringing conservation to life. Every living thing on Earth depends on the health of our natural world. Yet global biodiversity is declining at an unprecedented rate. Species, ecosystems and communities at the frontlines of conservation are too often overlooked and underfunded. Synchronicity Earth exists to change that. Founded in 2009, we are a UK-based charitable foundation funding and supporting organisations that protect and restore biodiversity in some of the most diverse yet threatened regions on the planet. Working through seven interconnected programmes, we champion effective local approaches, nurturing long-term partnerships and influencing the wider systems that shape the future of nature. Fifteen years on, Synchronicity Earth has become a vibrant platform for collaboration and creativity in conservation. Our mission is to bring conservation to life, connecting people, ideas and resources to create meaningful and lasting impact. Guided by our values of trust, fairness, flexibility, care, creativity and flourishing diversity, we are helping to reimagine how conservation is done and who it serves. We are now seeking two new Trustees to join our small, dynamic Board at an exciting moment in our journey. You will work closely with our Co-Executive Directors and fellow Trustees, including our Founders, to guide the organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring robust governance and oversight while supporting a culture of innovation, inclusion and learning. Together, you will help strengthen our impact, deepen our partnerships and shape our evolution as a thoughtful, collaborative and globally connected organisation. We welcome individuals who share our commitment to protecting and regenerating life on Earth and who bring insight, curiosity and creativity to their work. You will have leadership experience and may have experience in areas such as policy, systems change, organisational development, regional knowledge or lived experience aligned with our programmes, and technology. More important than any specific background is a shared belief that caring for the planet begins with listening to and learning from those closest to nature. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an organisation at the forefront of a growing global movement for biodiversity. By joining our Board, you will play a vital role in building a world where biological and cultural diversity can truly flourish – for nature, for people and for generations to come.
